Aptiv 6895290 radar is used on bmw cars with lange change assistant option also called as driving assistant plus to help to change lanes whilist driving.

The main malfunction for this part when it needs to be replaced is lane change assistant inoperative and you can't use this function, there might be other malfunction symptoms as well.

Each bmw car has two 6895290 radars located on the left and right side.

BMW part number is compatible with other two oem numbers - 6893736 and 6893736.

Coding might be required after replacing track lane control unit.
