Genuine Mercedes-Benz A6450900048 Continental 5WK98101 MAF Mass Air Flow Sensor Meter

Mercedes-Benz A645 090 00 48 Mass Air Flow sensor is direct replacement to old mercedes benz or continental parts.

Mass Air Flow sensor in short is also known as MAF.

MAF meter is responsible for air flow intake and once it fails, you'll instantly notice bad gear shifting, idling issues, no power in acceleration as well.

A6450900048 replacement is straight forward job, DIY is possible if you have basic tool at your garage.

Older part numbers of mercedes A6519050500 and continental 5WK98105 was superseded by A6450900048 and 5WK98101.

When MAF sensor fails you will get check engine light (MIL), once sign appears use OBD-II port scanner and check for fault code. 

If it is P0101 Mass or Air Flow Volume Sensor Circuit Range/Performance malfunction that just means meter needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
